Track Biography:
There will be two meetings held at the Tattersalls venue this Autumn season, with the Meath & Tara's holding the first fixture in October and then the Louth Hunt will return holding their annual autumn fixture in December.
Racing enthusiasts have acknowledged it as a firm fixture in the autumn point-to-point calendar.
Set on over 220 acres of lush green Meath countryside, a huge amount of work takes place throughout the year by Eugene O’ Neill and his team at Tattersalls to ensure the track is in excellent condition for all that come through the gate. Tattersalls host a number of equestrian national and international events throughout the year and can offer the best equestrian facilities in the world. Tattersalls can offer the competitors permanent on-site stabling facilities.

How To Get There
By Road
Take the M1 to Drogheda, turn right onto R152 sign posted for Duleek, Ashbourne and Ratoath. Follow signposts for Tayto Park on right hand side – a further 10 minute drive.
From Dublin
Take the M3 sign posted for Cavan / Navan. At the M3 train station take the R147 followed by the R155.
From the N7
Take the M50 North (sign posted Dublin Airport). Take the first exit after the toll bridge - M3 exit (sign posted Blanchardstown / Cavan). At the M3 train station take the R147 followed by the R155.

Combined with our free parking, we are lucky to have a clear viewing track that allows race goers to get up close to the action, often from the comfort of their car, should they wish to bring their own picnic for the family.
There are certain parts of the track that can be used to facilitate disabled parking so as to cater for every eager race goer.
We have a number of portaloo’s situated around the course which also includes baby and toddler changing facilities.

We are fortunate to have a hard-working committee who volunteer a lot of their time in the lead up to the point-to-point with many members providing delicious homemade soups, sandwiches, cakes and buns in the catering marquee that is located close to the parade ring and the action.
If you are still feeling peckish during your days racing we also have some fast food units that serve burgers, baps and tasty chips to keep you full for the day.

Our dedicated volunteers in the catering marquee are on hand all day to serve you hot teas, coffees and soup along with soft drinks and juices for the younger race goers.
Soft drinks may also be purchased from our outside catering unit.
If you would like something a little stronger we will also be serving hot toddy’s, the perfect warmer upper, with additional alcohol options also available to purchase from the catering marquee.
No, we do not have an official dress code, we just advise our race goers to wear comfortable footwear and wrap up warm.
Yes, we allow dogs to attend the point-to-point, but would ask that they are kept on their leads at all times whilst at the track.
Yes, however if you can also avail of our on-course catering facilities.
At our point-to-point we are lucky to have wide open spaces for children to play in a safe environment.
No, we do not provide an ATM. There is an ATM machine located in the Maxol Garage which is only a short walk turning left outside the gates of Tattersalls.

Tattersalls point-to-point is the perfect day out for the family in the countryside and as an added bonus for parents all children U16 have free admission.
Race goers have the opportunity to get a close up of the action when the runners are being saddled and paraded in the parade ring before their race. The fence in our home straight allows you to get a perfect viewing point of each race.
With Dublin city only 30 minutes from the track, there is an endless amount of attractions to keep you busy within the area.

Colin Bowe has won the last two editions of this race, and he could well bring up a hat-trick with PUSH PUSH and Walkingmayotomilan giving him a strong hand. The former only went down by a neck on her debut at Ballyknock in mid-April, and whilst she failed to back that up at Stowlin, she does look to have the strongest form in the book. Her stablemate has a similar profile after her latest effort at Ballingarry, but her Bartlemy run would bring her into the equation, whilst Denis Murphy has been doing well in this age group in recent weeks and his newcomer Cest Belle would have to be respected.

ETERNAL REWARD was in the shake-up for a placed finish on his first start in this sphere when coming down at the final fence at Castletown-Geoghegan earlier in the month. The final fence was also the downfall of LAmalric on his debut in Tallow, when he too held place claims at the time. However, he has since pulled-up at Kirkistown, so he will need to bounce back, whilst Intense Appeal finished second in a three-runner maiden last February, and is another for the shortlist.

WINGED LEADER went into the history books with a 34th victory between the flags at Portrush a fortnight ago, and he could bid to preserve an unbeaten record around here. The 11-year-old has won on all three previous visits here, including in this race 12 months ago. Magic Sadler has three lengths to find with the selection on their meeting at Necarne in the spring, whilst the previous Dublin Racing Festival winner, The Goffer, put up a big winning performance at Umma House last Sunday, but would be faced with a quick turnaround.

RADIATOR SPRINGS has finished placed in each of her two completed starts, and that consistency could be rewarded in this. She was only denied by a length in a big-field maiden at Loughrea a fortnight ago in a race where the eventual winner skipped the field, and she could be hard to oppose in this. That leaves her with the advantage of recent race fitness over Giorgia Rose who has changed stables since finishing third across the road in Fairyhouse last April, whilst Raise Your Wings and Port And Brandy also have previous placed form.
